It’s interesting looking into leadership and how it differs from country to country. It might appear to you that it is a collective understanding that it’s ok with bad leadership in a country. But no, it is a lot of people out there who don’t put up with bad leadership, changing the way their leaders look at things or if not succeeding; changing to a company to another where leadership is looked upon as something where there is not just one way to make things right, but several ways. Being in a manager position is much about guiding and motivating, but also about making it acceptable to learn and develop and making it acceptable to make mistakes you learn from. I have no respect of leaders that do not have respect for people having different backgrounds and point of views and I will make sure as a leader that I show respect for other colleagues’ opinions.
