Looking at search engines isolated the market is in a "please the consumer situation" - "everybody" is googling hence web content is instrumented for Google, leaving other search engines trying to be more like them. With the launch of Chrome the browser became i bit closer to being an OS - Gazelle will go the same way. How will browsers becoming more like an OS affect web development, and do we get a situation with "please the developer" or will the consumers lead the way? Either way new possibilities will probably affect how web content is built and presented (e.g. HD quality video), which might lead to a change in how search engines index - so may be the focus should be on developers in order to compete? Either way, here are some interesting speculations on Microsoft`s new search brand Kumo indicating a deal with Yahoo!.

Yes, it’s scary that most of the campaigns are randomly driven without any strategy or plan except getting the message out there. I’m doing great, thanks And you?

I agree with you, specially since I think that companies shouldn´t create messages that can be aired anytime with no real reason, brands should wisely choose what to say, when to say it and why they are saying it. Timing is almost as important as the message itself.

Hello Tonje, I hope you are doing great.
